Maru Coffee
This is Maru’s signature blend, with a refreshed name. Two coffees from Ethiopia, one natural and one washed, roasted separately and then blended to yield the best of both worlds—clean, sparkling acidity with citrus and tealike notes from the washed half, and more robust berry and sugary notes from the natural half.
Brings fruitiness and boldness into one cup. Dark berries, sweet, with a bold finish.
Kiri was established in 1997 and rests on a 5-acre piece of land serving Gitumbi, Kirunyuini, Kerere and Kaboia Villages, in Kirinyaga County near Kianyaga town. Currently it is affiliated to Ngiriambu Farmers Co-operative Society Ltd and it houses the society head office. Membership currently stands at 1400.
Notes: Blackberry jam fruitiness, cherry cola, and a crème caramel sweetness.
