The brand finds its origin in a quote by philosopher Karl Popper who noted that every discovery contains an irrational element. Through this philosophy An Irrational Element offers assorted goods inspired by a wide variety of subjects that are approached with a sense of irrationality.

With a further focus on textiles, production and shapes An Irrational Element aims to manufacture products that will grow and be adopted into one's life for a long time.

The label prides itself on its attention to detail and ethical background, producing natural garment tags which are hand stamped by the company.

All of AIE's clothing is made in Kai's family production house in Ukraine.
